This is a reissue of a rare title from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was distributed only in very limited quantities. While copies circulate quickly these days, this item is an officially licensed reissue from the master tapes.

This is a voluminous collection that more than complements Neil Young's famous live album, "Live Last." It completely captures the two-day live performance at Madison Square Garden from the 1978 tour, famously released as the official "Live Last," across four CD-Rs. The audience recordings convey Neil's immense popularity at the time through the cheers of the crowd, but the performance itself is very well recorded, and fans will undoubtedly be satisfied with this item. Especially with loud electric sets, the parts without crowd noise can pass as soundboard recordings. The setlists are the same for both shows, but Neil Young won't play the same phrases, so think of it as enjoying the same setlist in different versions. Of course, beginners should start with the official "Live Last." For connoisseurs who have already listened to "Live Last" countless times, this is an essential collection.
