Includes Mama Feelgood, which appeared at W2C, Musicology with its incredible bass and drum jam, a long version of Take Me With U, and a slower 7-minute version of I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man, with its slightly jazzy piano interlude that will bring you to tears of joy! The long intro to Let's Go Crazy, Mackey's brilliant guitar work on Purple Rain, a nearly 10-minute long sampler set, and a funky solo version of The Bird. Let's Work features a long bass solo by Ida in the middle, overlaid with funky cutting, then he stops the band and continues cutting alone, before the band returns a little later. After keeping the audience waiting 20 minutes for an encore, Love...Thy Will Be Done is a guitar explosion, and Mackey and Prince's super funk on The Electric Dance is awe-inspiring! This recording features superb audience sound quality! The first half of the show features funky jams, with Prince playing bass and cool cuts like "More Bounce To The Ounce," before turning the tables on "You Got The Love," revealing Prince's rock side! Also included is a rehearsal recording featuring a soundboard of a mashup version of "Mutiny" and "Ice Cream Castle," which has never been performed live before, but is now available exclusively at this aftershow! Plus, rare covers of Toto's "Africa," Samantha Sang's "Emotion," and X-Cream's "More Than Words," plus Andy McKee and the ladies! And at Paisley Park, where they made their debut, Andy played a long acoustic guitar intro, and Prince sang like he was in the studio! The latter half of the jam includes JB's Licking Stick-like phrases, and a slow version of "All Shock Up" is a first attempt. The medley from "Jam Of The Year" is also a fantastic version, with Prince singing along beautifully! The final track, "Days Of Wild," "Wild And Loose," and "Ain't Nobody," was actually played, but it's not included on this master. But don't worry, instead, we've included a 19-minute soundboard jam from "Days Of Wild," as well as other previously unreleased rehearsal recordings, making this a must-have for the Australian tour!

Brisbane: The Hi-Fi Aftershow(1CDR)

1.Live soundcheck to PA music- drums checkin' on I Know You Got Soul
2.Musicology incl. And it's the highest-quality audience recording of the tour! This item is the perfect way to get to know W2Aus, or rather, Prince right now! First, Bobby Byrd's "I Know You Got Soul" plays over the PA, but it suddenly stops, and then Musicology suddenly begins with a drum beat. The intro is long, and Prince doesn't sing, just jazzily strums his guitar. The female chorus begins singing "I Know You Got Soul," Prince responds, "I know you got soul!" Then Shelby steps forward and sings "Mama Feelgood," and the female chorus chimes in with, "Feelgood!"—a truly spine-chilling moment. The recording is packed with content, including O'Brissbane's call-and-response, Cathy's keyboard solo, and bass solo, but for some reason, Prince doesn't sing. Then, in a heavy funk groove, Prince finally breaks down and begins singing "Days of Wild," almost as if he's talking. Prince also sings the fuzz bass of "America" and "Wild and Loose," albeit slowly. Lib Warfield takes the lead on "Ain't Nobody," but then, astonishingly, Prince sings "Can You Handle It?" by Graham Central Station in a deep, Larry-like voice. Finally, Prince goes all out. After the melancholy guitar of "The Question of U," he plays "The One." While he doesn't sing "U Will Be With Me," he plays the melody on guitar. He then seductively sings the jazzy "Gingerbread Man," humming along to the melody of "U Will Be With Me," getting the audience to sing along, too. "Super intense, gorgeous," Prince laughs. Then, in "Brown Skin," Prince's guitar shines, delivering a sizzling Jimi Hendrix-esque guitar riff that sings more than the vocals. Then, in "Thank You," Prince sings energetically and alone, without any chorus, a rare sight. He tells the audience they can sing along if they want, but the chorus is still lightly sung by the female chorus. In "Love Rollercoaster," Prince sings in a rare falsetto, almost screaming, which is amazing! The audience also joins in, hoo-hoo-hooing to liven things up. Then, into "Controversy," he plays the guitar part of "I Know You Got Soul," bringing the audience up on stage for a call-and-response of "Ozzy Ozzy Ozzy." Finally, he plays the guitar part of "Play That Funky Music" and sings it himself. While he does get the audience to sing along, Prince shows no signs of fatigue, and his vocals are truly impressive. And then there's the roaring guitar at the end. Perhaps Prince really wants to be the best black guitarist ever.
