The original members of The Time reunited, The Original 7ven, who actually rarely performed live, and are releasing this rare audience recording. This is a live performance from November 5, 2011, at the State Theater in Minneapolis, seemingly to provoke Prince. Jimmy Jam calls out the band members' names over the backing of the lively new song \"Strawberry Lake,\" and then they play \"Get It Up.\" These are The Time classics performed by the original members! It's a truly tear-jerking performance. \"Jerk Out\" is so cool, with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis playing, and the guitar solos, called out by Jesse and Maurice, are so cool you'll be stunned and realize this is the true Jerk Out performance. The arrangements are different from those of The Time, which was centered around Morris Day. While Prince's compositions are certainly present, Day's solo tracks (\"Fishnet\" and \"Oak Tree\"), as well as Jesse Johnson's \"Be Your Man\" and \"Can You Help Me\" are presented with incredibly funky cutting and vocals. Perhaps due to Jesse Johnson's presence, the album also features Blondie rock numbers, featuring Jesse's guitar and keyboards by Jimmy Jam and Monte Moir. Even without the name, the performance is reminiscent of the original The Time, reminiscent of the band's '80s sound. The new track \"#Trendin'\" is also performed, showcasing a new sound that is truly impressive. It's not just a nostalgic melody union; it exudes a determination to once again storm the music scene. The original tracks, \"The Bard\" and \"Jungle Love,\" are performed by a powerful and realistic lineup, strikingly striking.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"purpletown","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52505568051516,"sku":null,"price":51.3,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0956\/5801\/7084\/files\/ff1788f8beeb77ed518d23b483448399.jpg?v=1764197613","url":"https:\/\/worldmusiclover.com\/de\/products\/the-original-7ven-live-in-minneapolis-2cdr","provider":"WORLD MUSIC LOVER","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
