This full recording of TOTO's latest performance, the Pacifico Yokohama concert, marks the final show of their year-long reunion tour, following their indefinite hiatus following their March 2008 Japan tour! This tour was a temporary reunion to provide relief for Mike Porcaro, who is currently battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). While this was a long-awaited reunion, featuring Steve Lukather, David Paich, Joseph Williams, and even Steve Porcaro, it's a complete revival of the classic TOTO sound with the most powerful lineup imaginable today! Joseph's brilliant, expansive clean voice is brought back to life throughout the album, while the tones of Paich and Steve create a truly undeniable TOTO atmosphere. Their undeniable combination truly defines TOTO. Although the final performance was forced to be interrupted by equipment trouble, it was packed with highlights, including Luke's Godfather skit, which brought roaring laughter to his impromptu band introductions. The full matrixing of the noiseless, uncompressed IEM source, the same as the one Joseph Williams monitored onstage, and the clear, well-balanced 24-bit audience material from the front row, produced a rich, deep, and three-dimensional sound, perfectly recreating the excitement of Pacifico Yokohama that day!
