This recording captures Eric Clapton's first London performance in 2017, held on May 22nd at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England. While Eric Clapton has retired from touring and now primarily performs a few shows a year, this recording captures the first of three London shows in 2017 at his former home, the Royal Albert Hall. The performance includes an acoustic set, and the rest of the set is filled with songs that longtime fans will absolutely love. The biggest surprise is the acoustic version of "Bell Bottom Blues," and the audience's rapture is palpable, making this a truly fantastic concert. Despite being an audience recording, the sound quality is excellent, with consistent clarity and a strong sense of presence throughout.
