This recording features the McAuley-Schenker Group's 1988 US tour, specifically their live performance at Bangles Denver CO on May 30th. Michael Schenker himself had great chemistry with MacGolli-Schenker, to the point that he named the band members after them, and the band was quite accomplished. However, at the time, the sound was considered somewhat jarring by longtime Michael fans and did not receive high praise. Yet, the performance recorded on this item showcases incredibly high-energy and amazing guitar work, and the audience is incredibly enthusiastic. It's such a powerful live performance that you'll want to shout, "This is rock! This is a rock concert!" In a sense, this is a superb live performance that shows Michael is one of those artists who can showcase his talent more in live performances than in studio work. The sound quality is excellent despite being an audience recording, with clarity and presence that can be enjoyed in high quality from beginning to end.
