The album "SESSIONS" was released in 1985 by EMI, which was struggling with the rampant proliferation of bootlegs around the world at the time. It was a collection of previously unreleased material, including demos and alternate versions of previously released songs from the band's debut to their breakup, tracks from fan club flexi discs, and completely unreleased tracks. Despite the master tapes and album jacket being completed, this elusive album was shelved due to strong opposition from the band members. While the same title has been released in various forms, this release goes even further, featuring alternate recordings! The recordings include alternate tracks mixed by Abbey Road Studios engineer John Barrett for the 1982 Abbey Road Show, as well as numerous tracks not used on the Abbey Road Show. This release is packed with fascinating material, including a full mono version of "Leave My Kitten Alone," a dry mono mix of the unreleased track "That Means a Lot" from the album "Help!", and the complete original mix of George's solo track "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," originally featured on "The Beatles/Anthology 3." Plus, five rare bonus tracks are included! The entire film is of official quality!
