The latest BBC Live broadcast edition, featuring the complete recording of "The Beatles at the Beeb," broadcast on BBC Radio in the UK in 2012 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' formation, is now available for the first time! While the program is based on the 1982 broadcast, this new broadcast features tracks of higher quality than both previous broadcasts and the official release, making it a must-listen. Comparing individual tracks reveals a clear freshness and a closer sound to the original, unlike the remastered sound of the official release. This edition features the complete broadcast audio, without any changes, and additional tracks from the 1982 broadcast program that were originally broadcast in the US. This latest edition, a must-have for collectors, includes the latest broadcast and previously unreleased tracks, making it the complete 1982 broadcast of "The Beatles at the Beeb"! [Collector's Point] The 2012 latest broadcast recordings, while based on the 1982 program, are of a younger generation than previously available recordings, demonstrating clearly improved sound quality compared to the original radio show recordings. While some tracks have been unearthed since 1982 and are available on official releases, the majority of the recordings are straight-up originals, unlike the remastered sound found on official releases. This release deliberately recorded the BBC broadcasts as they were, without noise reduction or EQ processing. While some tracks may now be imperfect in quality or content, this release honors the original 1982 recordings. Furthermore, when this 1982 BBC recording, originally broadcast in the UK, was broadcast in the US, the program expanded from two hours to three hours, and the number of tracks increased. This release also includes these tracks as extras. As a result, the entire tracklist from the three-hour US broadcast is included on this two-disc set.
