This recording features the second live performance from the \"Graham Bonnet with Don Airey\" tour, held at Durham's Rock Garden on July 19, 2001, with excellent audience quality. Since the release of his solo album \"The Day I Went Mad\" in 1998, Graham has been more active in hard rock and heavy metal than ever before, performing solo shows in California incorporating songs from his Rainbow and Alcatrazzo days, and participating in Anthem's planned album and live shows, delighting his fans from his Rainbow days. In 2001, Graham also reunited with Don Airey, a close friend from his Rainbow days, for a joint UK and European tour. Two performances from the November-December tour of \"Graham Bonnet with Don Airey\" were released on the Langley label as early masterpieces \"Down to England\" and \"Down to Barcelona.\" These two recordings appear to be from completely different summer tours, and were recorded on July 19th, marking the band's second live performance shortly after the band's formation. This recording, taken at a small venue, offers a sense of unity between the audience and the stage, and while it's an audience recording, it delivers a realistic and direct feel, almost like a line source. While there are some slight distortions in certain parts, likely due to the PA system, the balance and separation of the performance, the clarity and clarity, and the clarity of the sound are impeccable, allowing you to enjoy this rare live performance with peace of mind. The setlist, which delighted Graham fans, continues to be a source of great satisfaction, even today, with an opening reminiscent of '80's Rainbow with \"Eyes of the World\" and \"Love's No Friend,\" and the choice of the \"Down to Earth\" single \"Bad Girl,\" which surprised all Rainbow fans at the time. In addition to former Rainbow members, the combination of Italian virtuoso guitarist Dario Moro, who was heavily influenced by Ritchie, and Harry James and Chris Childs, who created the tight rhythms of THUNDER, ideally brings Rainbow songs to the 21st century stage. Don, who had not yet joined Deep Purple, primarily participated in sessions for albums at this time, but as can be heard on \"Maybe Next Time,\" his skills have become increasingly refined, further enhancing Dario's playing. While Graham's lyrics and delivery can sometimes be a little shaky, as evidenced on \"Night Games,\" his powerful voice and unique, bright personality remain as strong as ever, and this project will surely convince UK fans that \"Graham Bonnet is alive and well.\" A highlight of the live performance is \"Stargazer,\" which was included at Dario Moro's request. Graham would later frequently perform this song in his solo shows, but this performance here is one of his earliest. While the lyrics are barely recognizable, Ronnie's most ardent Rainbow fans may be upset, this \"lyric-memorization\" is also a hallmark of the beloved singer Graham Bonnet. Don's majestic, classical playing explodes on \"Difficult to Cure,\" along with his solo. The second half of the show begins with \"Only One Woman,\" the song that inspired Graham to join Rainbow, followed by three \"Down to Earth\" numbers: \"All Night Long,\" \"Lost in Hollywood,\" and \"Since You Been Gone,\" delighting both Rainbow and Graham fans.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Others","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52633741820220,"sku":null,"price":35.15,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0956\/5801\/7084\/files\/CDN-10466-1.jpg?v=1768608335","url":"https:\/\/worldmusiclover.com\/ko\/products\/graham-bonnet-don-airey-band-england-uk-2001-white-label-disc-1cdr","provider":"WORLD MUSIC LOVER","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
