AMERICAN GARAGE

This collection features two recordings by the same members of the Pat Metheny Group. As the title suggests, these recordings are incomplete. The recording order is not chronological; the 1984 recording likely covers only the second half of the live performance, while the 1985 recording covers only the first half, so the two recordings have a consistent feel when listened to together. Peri, a member of the chorus group, participated in the 1985 performance, but he only joined towards the end of the show, so he is not credited here. Both recordings had unnatural cuts between songs, which have been corrected with crossfades or fade-ins and outs. "DAULTON LEE" contained a lot of noise, like a microphone scraping, so these harsh elements have been removed. As a result, some parts may sound slightly skippy. Although these incomplete sound sources were coupled as an archive collection, the sound quality is quite good and both have similar tones, so fortunately, even if you listen to them through, you can enjoy them as a single live performance.

https://worldmusiclover.com/ko/products/pat-metheny-group-fragmentary-source-collection-santa-fe-850722-and-albuquergue-840128-1cdr
