This new compilation features intriguing cover versions and fun, sing-along jams from the Beatles' recording documentary, "The Get Back Sessions," which took place throughout January 1969. Based on Paul's "return to the roots" concept, this compilation focuses on intriguing cover versions and fun, sing-along jams from the Beatles! Each of the two discs includes the "Twickenham Studios" edition, which began in a spacious film studio while filming was in progress, and the "Apple Studios" edition, which saw Billy Preston take over the studio and move to a more compact studio. This compilation condenses the essential parts of the sessions, eliminating redundant repetitions and conversations, making it a truly remarkable "Get Back Sessions" best-of album.

[Collector's Point]
The "Get Back Sessions," which were accompanied by filming, are known for the extensive recordings that were made available every day, and numerous different compilations of the recordings have been released. While some sets, such as "Get Back Journal" and "Day by Day," were recorded in their entirety over several hours, the original songs that would later appear on the album "Let It Be" were often played repeatedly, and the continuous jam sessions were often interrupted and full of conversation, making them too lengthy to listen to through. This collection omits those parts and carefully selects takes that are coherent. Furthermore, based on Paul's original concept of "returning to the roots," the album focuses on interesting cover versions and fun, sing-along jams, rather than the creative process of original songs. The album includes rock 'n' roll numbers from their roots, including Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, familiar covers from their pre-Beatles days with the Quarrymen and Hamburg, and covers of Bob Dylan & the Band. It also features key moments, whether single phrases or fragments, of Beatles songs like "Love Me Do," "Please Please Me," "Help!," "Strawberry Fields Forever," and "Lady Madonna." In addition, the sound quality is recorded from the master reel sound source, and the master quality is significantly improved compared to the former "GET BACK JOURNAL" etc. It is the best of "Get Back Sessions" by the latest edited edition of 2017 on the permanent preservation press CD recorded in full in master quality.
