Beatles-specializing SGT. A noteworthy Beatles recording from the label's subsidiary DAP label! This first-ever remastered recording features a true stereo sound source restored from the numerous Nagra reel tapes left over from the 1969 Get Back Sessions for filming. The recording, taken at Twickenham Studios on January 3rd, from the early sessions, is recorded in a never-before-seen true stereo format. The two existing filming masters have been digitally restored to a true stereo image. Unlike standard mono recordings, the three-dimensional stereo sound delivers a truly fresh and satisfying sound. While previous recordings have simply converted mono to pseudo-stereo or simply spliced the left and right channels, this recording delivers a seamless, true stereo experience through meticulous digital restoration, including careful attention to sound quality and pitch adjustment. While the familiar long-duration recordings are valuable as historical records of The Beatles, the true stereo recording offers a distinctly different sound experience. This newly remastered recording is a collector's item, worthy of revisiting The Get Back Sessions! [Collector's Point] Collectors are well aware that the original A-roll and B-roll recordings from The Beatles' Get Back sessions existed, but they were both mono and had different recording times to compensate for tape changes. Collectors are now familiar with the fact that these recordings, combined to provide a complete picture of the sessions, have limited true stereo sources outside of the official Apple Studios recordings. In particular, there are two roll masters for the early Twickenham Studio recordings, each recorded in mono. This recording uses overlapping parts from the two roll masters to create a true stereo sound. While there have been some attempts to achieve this in the past, simply aligning the left and right sides often results in pitch differences and unnatural results. This recording has been meticulously restored to a natural, true stereo sound. While there are some mono sound effects in the dialogue and roll changes, the true stereo sound of the performance parts has a presence and impact that is on a different level than ambient mixes such as pseudo-stereo. The recording this time started from the sound source on January 3rd, but at the start of the session before that, only the A roll was recorded, and the parts that have not been recorded this time in chronological order are parts that do not become real stereo due to roll changes or complete overlap, and the concept here is "sound that is valuable as a sound". This time, it is mainly recorded.
