From the Digital Archive Series, a must-have for Beatles fans, comes Twin Title Vol. 1, "TWICKENHAM JAM," a condensed version of the "Get Back Sessions"—a session best-of track album. Based on Paul's concept of "returning to the roots," this compilation focuses on intriguing covers and jam sessions from the recording documentary "Get Back Sessions," which took place throughout January 1969. Vol. 1 features the "Twickenham Studios" edition, which began in a spacious film studio with the film's filming. Vol. 2, "APPLE JAM," features the "Apple Studios" edition, which saw the band move to a more compact studio with Billy Preston. It's no secret that these sessions, which were accompanied by filming, left behind extensive recordings every day, and while some sets, such as "GET BACK JOURNAL" and "DAY BY DAY," recorded the entire session over several hours, the content often ended up being too lengthy to listen to in its entirety, with the same songs being played over and over again, and the continuous jam sessions interrupted and filled with conversation. This collection, therefore, omits those parts and instead carefully selects takes where the performance itself is cohesive. Based on Paul's concept of "returning to the roots," the collection focuses on interesting cover numbers and jam sessions rather than the creative process of original songs. The album features rock and roll numbers from their roots, including those of Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, familiar cover songs from their time with The Quarrymen and Hamburg before The Beatles debuted, and even Beatles numbers such as "Love Me Do," "Please Please Me," "Help!", "Strawberry Fields Forever," and "Lady Madonna," all sung in single phrases or fragments throughout the album.
