"Lost Masters," a compilation album released by the DAP label, focuses on the many original Beatles songs beyond the 213 officially released albums and singles of the 1960s. It chronologically covers all the songs originally composed by the band, excluding covers, from the Quarrymen era, from "Inspite of All the Danger," the oldest surviving original song, to "Now and Then," which was never released in the Anthology Project. This collection features the best-quality recordings available, including non-album tracks, demos, unreleased songs written for artists other than The Beatles, shelved session material, unfinished rehearsal material, and Beatles versions of songs released on solo albums after the band's breakup. It also features three original tracks from the 1962 Decca audition, "Hello Little Girl," "Like Dreamers Do," and "Love of the Loved," as well as early demos converted from mono to true stereo using AI technology. Many tracks from the 1969 Get Back sessions are also included in true stereo, similar to the demixes featured in the recent film "Get Back." These tracks are edited differently from the film. This new anthology, compiled chronologically, explores the extent of the Beatles' unreleased material beyond their official releases. While many of these tracks are unfinished, they offer a fascinating insight into The Beatles' essence, a must-have for collectors!
