This is the final performance of Eddie Jobson and John Wetton's first UK tour in 32 years, held at Kawasaki Club Citta on April 18th, recorded in its entirety with ultra-high-quality audience recordings! This additional performance, held on April 15th and 16th, was sold out to a full house.
John Wetton fell ill over the weekend, so his vocals sounded worse than ever. However, in the wake of the earthquake and tsunami, while other artists were canceling their Japan tours one after another, this performance was a testament to the band's determination to not cancel their UK show, and fans will be deeply moved by it. John's powerful vocals are truly moving and fitting for the final day of their Japan tour.
Perhaps out of concern for John's vocal condition, "Book Of Saturday" and "Sahara Of Snow Pt. II" were omitted from the set, but "Night After Night," which was omitted on the second day, was included again. With a stronger UK flavor, this setlist is a satisfying one in its own right.
This album was recorded in the true front row, and on tracks like "Zero 2," you can hear the raw sound of Eddie's violin striking, the bow scraping against the strings, and even the sound of him switching between effects pedals.
