Played on a Technics SL-1200MK2 record player, and a Yamaha The audio was recorded onto DAT tape on a Sony PCM-R300 via the RX-Z1's audio\/video receiver. The audio was then imported to a PC using a Turtle Beach Catalina sound card and Cool Edit Pro software, where it was remastered to remove clicks and convert to digital WAV files. The sound quality is of the highest order. Another groundbreaking feature is the inclusion of edited versions not previously included in the Anthology series, as well as B-sides that were omitted because Prince was not involved.
