This now-legendary live performance at the Nippon Seinenkan (Japan Youth Hall) from their first tour of Japan in 1980 has been digitally remastered and recorded on a premium stereo soundboard.
Having established a solid presence in the scene, particularly in their native UK, the band's long-awaited first performance in Japan was a highly anticipated one, and this performance is considered one of the greatest. Since the band was also broadcast on FM radio at the time, collector's editions featuring the air-check recordings have been available, but the quality is so aged that it's hard to call it "ultra-high quality," and fans have been unable to truly relive this legendary performance.
This stunning recording, released to completely shatter this current stalemate! The master quality stereo soundboard sound source has been digitally remastered in 24-bit, and if it weren't for the momentary sound fluctuations caused by the masters on "'A' Bomb In Wardour Street" and "David Watts," the overwhelmingly high-quality sound would be ready for official release as is!
