RIDE MY SEESAW

In recent years, the "Mike Millard Tapes" have been increasingly digitized, either directly from the master tapes or from low-generation tapes. These tapes were recorded by Mike Millard, a taper familiar to fans for his exceptional audience recording skills. While this label has released several recordings using these newly digitized Mike Millard Tapes as masters, you may have noticed that there are two types: "Brushed Mike Millard Tapes" and "Legendary Mike Millard Tapes." Not all Mike Millard Tapes have perfect sound quality; some have considerable room for improvement. The "Brushed" series features significantly improved versions, while the "Legendary" series features tapes that were originally near perfect with little room for improvement, and only minor edits such as slight transitions between tracks are made.

This time, we have The Moody Blues from the "Legendary" series. Not Abbachio's Stand, of course. We're talking about the veteran progressive rock band. From their debut lineup, the guitarist changed to Jazztin Hayward and the bassist to John Lodge, and they gradually reborn as a progressive rock band, reaching their peak in the 70s. This is a valuable live recording from 1974, when they also toured Japan. It's a culmination of their work after "Domu" and "Seventh Sojourn." There are some parts that sound a bit distorted, so it's not the best Millard recording, but it's a high-quality recording that stands out from typical audience recordings.

https://worldmusiclover.com/products/the-moody-blues-ledgendary-mike-millard-tape-live-at-the-forum-1974-2cdr
