Eric's many signature phrases are nowhere to be seen on this day, and his unique rhythm and phrasing pop out throughout, creating a truly compelling performance. The careful yet bold exchange of phrases gave it a different feel from other Nippon Budokan performances, and if you had to choose one performance from the first half of the Budokan, it would definitely be this one on November 24th, given the play and individual tension.
