Supporting keyboards also included ZEB JAMESON, who took over from Mike Rowe midway through the 2000 tour, just as he did for "FAMILIAR TO MILLIONS."
After the band members took their positions on stage and exchanged brief greetings, Liam called out "SOME MIGHT SAY!!" but the show started off normally with "GO KET IT OUT" (lol).
The audio is mono-ish stereo, but the VHS footage released immediately after the concert featured some audio fluctuations throughout, and although several songs have been broadcast in Japan, this is arguably the best picture and sound quality available to date.
While there's a very slight amount of noise typical of the South American broadcast footage, the quality is more than enough to enjoy the live show.
As for the live performance, the highlight of the middle section, "GAS PANIC!", featured some slight changes to the jam in the second half, and "WONDERWALL" was performed with an interlude. Liam's voice, which is almost always in poor condition after a long absence, was in good shape throughout (though the setlist was completely unsurprising). It's possible that, even with only three shows, he had plenty of rehearsals before heading to South America.
Of course, Liam immediately went into the studio after the 2000 tour, so it's more likely he was singing all day and night (lol).
"CIGARETTES & ALCOHOL" follows the arrangement from spring 2000 onwards, with "TOMORROW NEVER KNOWS" before the intro and "WHOLE LOTTA LOVE" at the end. "ROCK'N'ROLL STAR" is dedicated to Axl of GUNS'N'ROSES, who made a surprise comeback on New Year's Day that year. Overall, it's a solid performance that makes it hard to believe this was the first time the new lineup performed live almost a year before (December 1999). The audio-only disc does not include the opening song, "FUCKIN' IN THE BUSHES," but it's not simply a recording of the video; it's a well-separated stereo soundboard.
