This collector's CD features soundboard (SBD) recordings from live events and BBC sessions between 1982 and 1985—a period when Bernie Tormé’s reputation in the industry was rapidly rising following his stints with the Ian Gillan Band and the Ozzy Osbourne Band. During this time, Tormé had stepped in to replace Randy Rhoads in Ozzy's band and reportedly received an offer to join permanently; however, he chose to pursue his own solo career instead. His motivation was incredibly high during this era, and the performances captured here are superb—offering a glimpse of the kind of acclaim he might have achieved (perhaps even rivaling Randy Rhoads) had he stayed on as Ozzy's guitarist. Due to issues such as the bankruptcy of his record label and a lack of stable band lineups, official recordings of Bernie Tormé from this period are extremely rare, making these soundboard recordings a truly miraculous find. The disc includes his performance at the 1982 Reading Rock Festival as well as BBC studio sessions.
