This recording captures the second day of Carole King and James Taylor's "Troubadour Reunion Tour 2010," a tour that featured only three shows in Japan, in its entirety, with immersive, high-quality audience recording. Disc 1 contains the approximately one-hour first set, while Disc 2 contains the second set, which resumed after a 20-minute break, plus the encore. Like the opening day performance at the Budokan, simultaneously released by the XAVEL label, this recording utilizes the original master recorded from the very front of Arena Block A. While the venue's acoustics were somewhat unbalanced on the first day, they've been significantly improved on this second day, resulting in a clearer, yet still comfortable, mid- and low-frequency "rumble" that's so characteristic of the Budokan. The second day of the Budokan performance was a fulfilling one, with fans moved to tears by the two greats sharing the stage throughout the entire show, and the song selection and performance were just as satisfying as the first day. The highlight of the day, however, was the re-performance of "Hi-De-Ho (That Old Sweet Roll)" from The City's days with this band member.
