First night at the Budokan on their first Japan tour in 16 years! The "In The Name of Love Tour" lives up to its name! This stunning performance, featuring a string of number-one hit songs, is fully recorded with the finest IEM + AUD matrix sound source!!

The first day (January 6th) of the consecutive concerts held at Nippon Budokan in the New Year of 2015 is fully recorded in astonishing high-quality sound. Part of the familiar XAVEL label's IEM + AUD matrix sound source series, this exquisite live recording perfectly balances the IEM sources used by drummer Gerry Brown and other musicians on stage with the superbly balanced original audience source. Compared to the second day's performance, released at the same time, this recording delivers a richer, more "Budokan-esque" sound quality with fuller bass, allowing you to enjoy the ideal live sound.

This "In The Name of Love" tour, marking the band's first Japan tour in 16 years, features only two dates at the "holy ground" Nippon Budokan, giving it a premium feel. And the actual performance did not disappoint, delivering an incredible performance that completely lived up to expectations. The performance itself wasn't particularly long, lasting about 80 minutes, but the jam-packed, spectacular performance of number one hits from each era left no one wanting. Diana Ross was a driving force behind the glamorous black music scene of the 1960s and 1970s, from the dawn of Motown to the height of the disco boom.
