Returning to Japan for the first time in two and a half years at Summer Sonic 2010, this live performance from progressive metal pioneers Dream Theater, which blew the crowd away, has been remastered from high-quality audio for a balanced and easy-to-listen-to sound. The show centered around their new 10th album, "Black Clouds & Silver Linings." James LaBrie's voice was also exceptional, and the unison and battle of guitar and keyboards was astonishing. The encore, "Pull Me Under" and "Metropolis Pt.1," were performed as a medley, even at festivals! There is a dialogue between John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess inserted in the middle, which is also impressive.
