This is a superb live album featuring the Yokohama performance from the band's 2014 Japan tour, completely recorded with a superb audience sound. The familiar XAVEL label's original high-quality master has been digitally remastered in 24-bit, creating a truly exceptional live album. It also includes the much-talked-about 2009 Japan tour featuring a collaboration with Jeff Beck, and the 2011 tour with Steve Winwood, a former BLIND FAITH ally, which generated a huge stir. The XAVEL label has consistently released recordings of exceptional sound quality that could be called "definitive editions," and this release once again lives up to fans' expectations. Following three performances at the Budokan, the band moved to Yokohama, capturing the moving performance, arguably the best of the tour, in stunning acoustics. This release was recorded from the prime position at the very front center of the arena. This recording is a world apart from the disappointing sound quality of audience recordings that are so prevalent today, and truly deserves to be described as "the pinnacle." From classic bluesy numbers bursting with emotion to "Tears In Heaven," performed for the first time in a long time in front of Japanese fans, this two-hour performance condenses all of the charm of guitarist Eric Clapton. As this was said to be his final major tour, it was surely a deeply moving experience for fans.
