This is a high-quality soundboard live recording of Frank Zappa. The 1979 live performance captures a golden period after he resolved his contract disputes with Warner and established his own label, releasing albums like "Sheik Yabooti" and "Joe's Garage." Zappa himself was a master guitarist, but the guitar quartet, featuring Ike Willis and Warren Cuccurullo, is truly impressive. Peter Wolf and Vinnie Colaiuta, who would later gain immense support from Jeff Beck, Sting, and Herbie Hancock, were among the musicians who joined the band at this time, making for a formidable lineup. Zappa conducted the band with ease, and they responded perfectly to his instructions, a testament to the caliber of the musicians in the band.
