This tour featured a truly stellar backing band, with legendary rock drummer Ian Paice and—in a reunion of sorts—keyboardist Don Airey joining Gary Moore for his first European tour. This release captures the full concert from November 26, 1982, at the Mayfair Club in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, including the encore; it also includes a bonus soundboard recording from his 1983 appearance on BBC Radio 1. At this time, Gary was gaining global acclaim as both a solo artist and a guitarist, and the intensity of his performance is striking. The playing itself is incredibly taut, conveying a sense of stoic focus. The 1983 BBC session showcases a tight, cohesive band with excellent interplay, making for a highly engaging listen.
