Celebrating its 50th anniversary, George Harrison's monumental album, "All Things Must Pass," is now available as a 2-CD Special Collector's Edition from the SGT. label! George's masterpiece, "All Things Must Pass," which reached No. 1 in the US in 1970, has been remastered several times, but this "50th Anniversary Special Collector's Edition" features a completely new remix. CD 1 features a "Multitrack Alternate Remix" featuring a unique remix of every track on the album except for "Apple Jam." While the original, produced by Phil Spector, tended to drown out vocals and instruments with its thick sound, the official 50th anniversary remix offers a clearer sound image. This alternate remix, however, utilizes a unique remix based on a multitrack recording that completely separates the vocals and instruments. In addition to the stereo separation with different instrument balances, the main vocal track is more prominent and the high-resolution sound image is particularly noteworthy, as the naked vocals convey a sense of breathiness. Listening with headphones provides a completely different sound image than the original or previous remasters, making the difference in the realistic sound even more noticeable. This is the first time this unique remix has been released. CD 2 features a "Multitrack Instrumental Remix" featuring instrumental tracks without vocals. This version also features a unique remix based on a multi-track recording with each instrument completely separated, resulting in a stereo separation that differs from the alternate remixes. This version makes each instrument's part even clearer, emphasizing the brilliance of the performance itself, including previously inaudible details. While instrumental recordings have been released before, this is a completely different source and is a unique remix, making its first appearance. Also included are three bonus tracks: "All Things Must Pass," "I Live for You," and "My Sweet Lord (2000)."
