This is a 1978 live recording of Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters. At just under 50 minutes, this is a rather short soundboard recording. There was a significant amount of hiss, which was reduced with noise reduction, but not completely eliminated. Still, the sound quality is quite high-quality, and the bass of Paul Jackson, the heart of funk, can be heard clearly, which is only possible with a soundboard. This is a precious and memorable live recording from the Sun Plaza in Nakano, which has been scheduled for demolition.
