After releasing a solo album on the Apple label in 1968 but failing to achieve success, he re-debuted on Warner in 1970 with the classic album "Sweet Baby James," and this performance focuses on songs from that album. "Fire and Rain" was a classic that was hugely popular with young people at the time, and drew particularly enthusiastic cheers at concerts.
