This recording features Jeff Beck's 2017 Japan tour performance at Sun Plaza Hall, Sendai, Japan on January 26th. On the Japan tour that started on the 25th, Jeff is backed by a lineup featuring Jimmy Hall and Rosie Bones on vocals, Carmen Vandenberg on guitar, Rhonda Smith, who has become the face of Jeff's band, and Jonathan Joseph on drums. With the studio album "Loud Hailer" selling well, Jeff delivers a fantastic live performance with his superb guitar work. Jeff himself commented in an interview that the Sendai show was a "very exciting show," and the concert was indeed top-notch. Five songs from the album "Loud Hailer" were performed, and the setlist, a mix of old and new songs, is packed with highlights. The sound quality is excellent, even though it's an audience recording. It was recorded almost in the center of the stage, and there is no problem with cleanliness or presence. You can enjoy high-quality sound from beginning to end without any audience noise.
