The 2013 Tokyo concert, which saw the band's eight studio albums since "Autobahn" recreated in perfect detail, delighted fans. The sixth day of the eight-night concert at Akasaka Blitz, featuring "Techno Pop," was recorded on May 14th. This recording features a superb audience recording comparable to a soundboard recording, capturing every detail from the opening surround sound introduction to the final performance. This title boasts astonishing sound quality, thanks to 24-bit digital remastering of the original high-quality master from the XAVEL label.
Following the familiar robot voice intro, the set kicked off with "Electric Cafe," followed by "The Telephone Call," "House Phone," and "Sex Object," a trio of Techno Pop hits exclusive to this night! From "Autobahn" to "Tour de France," the set then featured a stellar selection of classic tracks from each era, concluding with a return to Techno Pop with the customary "Boing Boom Tschak" and "Musique Non Stop." This infamous album, which began production around 1982 and struggled for over four years before finally being released as "Electric Cafe," was recently remastered and reissued under the original title of "Techno Pop." The timeless tracks, which have remained relevant for so long, can only be appreciated when listened to with modern ears. The set featured fresh rhythm arrangements utilizing the latest electronics, and the tour's biggest attraction: "pop-out" 3D images, with surround sound that was just as meticulously crafted. It is a memorial item with perfect sound quality that brings back all the events experienced at the venue.
