This is the latest live recording from Magma, a long-established French progressive rock band. This is truly a one-of-a-kind band, creating a wondrous sound by singing in their own unique language and weaving together intense time signature changes with beautiful harmonies. Their epic masterpiece, "MEKANIK DESTRUKTIW KOMMANDOH," which is well over 30 minutes long, is also brilliantly performed. Although sometimes categorized as jazz-rock, their ensemble should be viewed within a much broader framework—the sonic universe they express themselves. This album features a remastered matrix recording created by mixing three audience recordings.
