This is professional-shot footage of Michael Jackson's concert in Japan. While it's professional-shot, the picture quality can't compare to modern high-definition, as the master is from the original videotape. However, the sound quality has been dramatically improved by the remastering. The upgrade is immediately noticeable. The year was 1987, during the height of the Japanese economic bubble. The enthusiasm of Japanese fans was incredible, with many even fainting from excitement. Michael Jackson was also at his peak. The band's performance, his vocals, and his sharp, energetic dancing—all of these elements came together perfectly, making this arguably the greatest stage performance in Michael Jackson's history. Veteran Michael Jackson fans will enjoy reminiscing about the past, while younger dance fans who aren't very familiar with Michael will undoubtedly discover something new. Incidentally, the rare presence of Sheryl Crow, who hadn't yet made her solo debut, on backing vocals is another highlight.
