This is a live recording by the group Rimage, recorded at the prestigious New Morning in Paris in 2010. Rimage is Mike Mainieri's group, featuring members who also participated in one of the greatest jazz fusion albums of the 1970s, "White Elephant." Although the group had plans to form a unit at the time, no albums were released. More than 30 years later, the same members recorded an album called "2.0." This release features live recordings of all the tracks from "2.0." Despite being recorded with an audience, the sound is immersive and high-quality. Also noteworthy is the inclusion of Tony Levin, who also plays with King Crimson and Sticks, on a Chapman Stick.
