This Miles Davis item comes from the "Stargazers" label, which is currently attracting attention as the pinnacle of Miles Davis collector labels and also plays an active role in supporting "Voodoo Down" Records, including creating bonus discs.

This recording captures a live performance held in Detroit in 1982, under the name of the Montreux Jazz Festival. The original sound quality of this recording was like something you'd hear on a cheap toy radio. It has been extensively renovated and brought to a level where it can be properly enjoyed as "music." It's a fantastic live performance featuring the young Mike Stern and Marcus Miller. For beginners, I recommend "BRUSSELS CONCERT 1982 (1CD)" released by Voodoo Down.
