This is a live recording of a duo performance by Pat Metheny and Mick Goodrick. The recording took place in December 2002, a time when Pat Metheny had finished his yearly performances with the Pat Metheny Group and was collaborating with various musicians individually. Mick Goodrick also taught at Berklee College of Music, where the performance was held, and many prominent students such as Bill Frisell, John Scofield, and Mike Stern have graduated from his school. This duo offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy their guitar playing. Therefore, it is not recommended for those who don't particularly like guitar. The sound quality is quite good, with occasional applause between songs, but these have been reduced or removed to a degree that doesn't sound unnatural. The applause between songs has been cut out because it was distracting.
