Sheryl This high-quality audience recording captures the live performance at JCB Hall on December 11th, the first day of The Crow's 2008 Japan tour in Tokyo. This highly anticipated performance marks the band's first visit to Japan in six years, bringing with it the album "Detours." This highly anticipated performance is captured in its entirety with stunning, powerful sound. Detours is a fitting title for Cheryl's new album, a late-blooming debut in the '90s, a meteoric rise to success, and a strong return to the scene after overcoming breast cancer surgery. Following the sound effects of "I Can See Clearly Now," the set opened with a selection of tracks from the new album, including a balanced set of hits from the '90s. The arrangements, which skillfully incorporate tracks like "Gimme Shelter" and "I Can See Clearly Now," are superb. In terms of sound quality, it does not come close to the perfect quality of "Shine Over Tokyo Second Night," which was recorded on the 12/12 performance and was released simultaneously by the XAVEL label, but it is a recording with superb sound quality, with almost no reverberation in the hall and the contours of each instrument clearly defined.
