★Valuable recordings, including unreleased tracks not featured on official live albums and non-album tracks, have been restored and recorded in the best currently available sound quality from the original broadcast recordings.

The Beatles have left us with numerous invaluable live performances since their debut in the 1960s, appearing on BBC radio in the UK. Later, carefully selected tracks were officially released as the albums "Live at the BBC" and "Vol. 2." However, due to sound quality issues and the need to avoid overlapping tracks, many tracks remain unreleased. From the early to mid-'60s, the band performed live in the studio on a weekly basis. This "Live at the BBC Rarities" collection features rare recordings, primarily from BBC recordings previously unreleased, often including unreleased tracks from the vinyl era. Starting with the later-restored "I Want to Hold Your Hand," the collection also includes "Love Me Do," a live performance from "Parade of the Pops," a 1963 Christmas medley, live BBC performances of "The Two of Us" and "That's a Wonderful Dance" broadcast around the time of the 1964 film "A Hard Day's Night," and even pre-radio rehearsals. The two official "Live at the BBC" albums feature recordings never before released. While the quality of the sound source itself varies, the original mono live recording has been converted into a true stereo mix using the latest AI technology. The vocals and performances have been reborn with greater clarity thanks to the stereo separation, making this an upgraded sound source. While similar stereo remixes have been released both domestically and internationally in recent years, this newly edited, original remastered sound source is a must-listen for this latest DAP title!
