In addition to the video album featuring the original footage and the now-rare original movie with different edits, the DVD also includes footage of the adventure ride originally used in the attraction, MTV making-of footage, EPK promo footage, a slideshow of the original '60s book, and even a CD featuring the original album and working versions of the mono soundtracks used in the film.
This is the definitive 2012 collector's edition, featuring all the rare audio and video material related to "Yellow Submarine"!

[Major Contents]
The main feature on the first DVD is the "Yellow Submarine Songtrack Video Album," featuring every song from the remix album in widescreen and 5.1 surround sound. While the film featured clips cut short or used in fragments, these have been re-edited to create a collection of original footage.

Next is footage from the "Yellow Submarine Adventure Ride," which was once a limited-time attraction in Japan.
You can now see all three versions of the footage used for this rare attraction.
Also included is the MTV special from the 1999 DVD release, a video clip of the studio recording of "Hey Bulldog," and a 2012 promotional video.
Plus, every page of the rare original 1960s book is recreated in a slideshow.
The original mono mix is used as background music.
The second DVD contains the original "Yellow Submarine" film, with a different edit.
The 1999 and latest official DVDs include the UK version, edited in widescreen and including "Hey Bulldog," but this is the original US edition, which does not include "Hey Bulldog" but instead features an extended "Baby You're a Rich Man" and different edits of the fight scenes. Plus, you can watch the film in its original, 4:3 standard format with no top or bottom cuts.
Also included is EPK footage from the 1999 release of the DVD and "Songtrack."
It also includes interviews with the three Beatles members and others involved, which formed the basis for the first MTV special, as well as production documentaries and promotional material for the collection.
The CD also includes the original British mono album, not included in the official mono box set, and the working version mono audio used in the film.
As with previous SGT. label releases, this 2012 collector's edition is packed with content, bringing together all the related footage and audio that is essential for Beatles collectors.
