Among the bands that performed over the two days, this recording captures the exceptional performance of the band members, who are among the most experienced, with an equally exceptional, raw sound. It's a superb audience sound recording with excellent sound pressure, separation, and a rich, vivid sound image, capturing the legendary stage.

John Sykes' sharp and distinctive guitar solos, Cozy Powell's powerful drumming, and above all, Coverdale's deep, soulful vocals from this period are absolutely captivating.

The first 50 sets include a bonus disc featuring a jacketed recording of the February 15, 1983 Osaka concert at Festival Hall, titled "Here We Go Again," with excellent sound quality.
