This recording captures Beck, Bogert & Appice's 1973 Japan tour, specifically their performance at Nagoya Shi-Kokaido, Nagoya, Japan on May 16th. This legendary band, BBA, disbanded after less than three years, recorded their first and last performance in Japan. Of the four shows they performed, only one was in Nagoya. The Nagoya performance, compared to Osaka and Tokyo, gives the impression of a more relaxed and uninhibited performance from the band members. While the other shows felt somewhat stiff, perhaps due to being recorded, the performance captured on this item is very natural and powerful. As it was their second Japanese performance, it's a consistently excellent and stable live show. Six bonus tracks from their 1972 London performance are included. The sound quality is slightly dated and somewhat lower due to the audience recording format, but it has been restored as much as possible to achieve a stable and powerful sound.
