Unfortunately, Bill Ward was absent from this tour, but the original Big Three—Geezer's bass that seemed to crawl across the ground with boundless energy, Mr. Riff Master Iommi's emotionally charged, soulful solos that belied his recent illness, and the undeniably iconic character and vocalist of Sabbath—all clashed and intersected at Makuhari Messe, creating a truly legendary first performance in Japan. This release combines Ozzy's clear, noiseless, uncompressed stereo IEM source used on stage with miraculously high-quality 24-bit audience recordings—completely free of any jarring audience noise like screams and clapping from the PA console in the center of the arena—resulting in a rich, clear, and perfectly balanced L/R mix. The result is a definitive, must-have memorial title, showcasing Ozzy's vocals and each individual part with a distinct, three-dimensional sound with depth and richness.

As bonus material, it includes five tracks, approximately 30 minutes in total, selected from the two shows at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne—including "Electric Funeral" and "Dirty Women" (which were played on the Australian tour but sadly cut from the Japanese release), and three new tracks from the album "13"! This bonus material is also recorded in superb audience quality. As an extra bonus, approximately 20 minutes of monitor audio from three songs where Ozzy's singing is "relatively decent" has been extracted and added to the album.
