This two-disc set features a previously unreleased live performance by the Dave Pike Set, a jazz-rock group formed by American vibraphonist Dave Pike and a group of European talents. The first and second sets were recorded at Studio 2 at the WDR Sendesaal in Cologne, Germany, on March 11, 1971, and are recorded in exquisite stereo soundboard quality. Featuring many tracks from the 1971 "Album" released by MPS, the album takes on a more jazz-rock feel, showcasing the members' superb performances. Also included are "Walking Down the Highway in a Red Raw Egg" and "Mother People" from the classic 1969 album "Noisy Silence - Gentle Noise."
