This stereo soundboard recording is from the final show (July 22, 1984) at the Palace Theater in Los Angeles. This release features a rare stereo soundboard recording from 1984, the year Zappa announced his retirement from touring, digitally remastered from the finest first-generation masters. While the opening tracks are cut and the recording is incomplete, the sound quality remains excellent enough for an official release. Featuring guest appearances from Zappa band alumni George Duke, Aynsley Dunbar, and Johnny "Guitar" Watson, this is a must-have for any fan. Bonus tracks include three additional demos by the late George Duke, produced in 1972 by Zappa. Said to have been created during the sessions for "Waka/Jawaka" and "The Grand Wazoo," these demos feature full participation from the Zappa band, with the guitar solos even featuring the legendary Zappa himself. A truly rare experience!
