Fan-festival 2013 Tokyo performances, featuring a complete reproduction of all eight studio albums since "Autobahn," delighted fans. The fifth night of the eight-night run at Akasaka Blitz featured a recreation of "Computer World." This live performance on May 13th features a superb audience recording comparable to a soundboard recording, capturing every detail from the opening surround sound introduction to the final show. This title boasts astonishing sound quality, with 24-bit digital remastering applied to the original high-quality master from the XAVEL label.
Following the familiar robot voice intro, the band played every track from "Computer World" starting with "Numbers," followed by a balanced rendition of classic tracks from each era, from "Autobahn" to "Tour de France." "Computer World" is an epoch-making concept album that has had a profound influence on all dance music of the band's ilk. As one of Kraftwerk's most popular albums, most of its tracks are included in their regular setlists. However, the unique transition from "Pocket Calculator" to "Denka" (Calculator), which was a tour debut, sent the entire venue into a frenzy of delight. Perhaps hinting at the upcoming "Techno Pop," "Electric Cafe" also made its first appearance on this tour.
The fresh rhythm arrangements, utilizing cutting-edge electronics, and the tour's most notable "pop-out" 3D visuals, combined with the meticulous surround sound, bring to life all the experiences you've had at the venue. This memento, with its flawless sound quality, brings to life all the experiences you've had at the venue.
