This release features a recording from the February 19th, 1988 concert in Saint-Denis, France, right at the start of the 1988 tour. Originally a high-quality audience master, the label's unique remastering process has significantly increased the sound pressure. The first minute or so of 'INTRUDER' had a rather low level that gradually increased, but this has been corrected. The jarring "clap, clap, clap, clap..." applause sounds between songs have been meticulously removed, like removing a fishbone. While several 1988 recordings have been released in this series from the same label, this February recording is among the earliest and a valuable addition to any archive.
