Morrissey's 2023 Japan tour, a one-night-only Tokyo performance that has already become legendary, is fully captured in two high-quality sound versions with polarizing sound characteristics. Released by the XAVEL label shortly after the show, "One Night Stand" has been lauded as a shining masterpiece in the history of Morrissey bootlegs, but that alone isn't enough! The aforementioned "One Night Stand" was an exquisite mix of ① XAVEL's signature multi-IEM matrix source and ② the superb sound quality of the original audience source. However, this release features ① on Disc 1 and ② on Disc 2 without mixing them. While extremely dry and clear, with some noticeable clicks, Part ① is a crisp stereo line sound source that vividly captures the contours of each instrument, centered around Morrissey's vocals. On the other hand, Part ② is an audience sound source that vacuum-packs the atmosphere of Toyosu PIT, enveloped in tremendous heat, while still allowing you to enjoy the best-balanced live sound, recorded in the venue's acoustic sweet spot.
