This is a reissue of a rare title from a handmade label created by collectors for collectors, which was distributed only in very limited quantities. While copies quickly circulate these days, this item is an officially licensed reissue from a newly acquired master.

This item features a remastered recording of the first night of Neil Young's solo concert, the "Twisted Road Tour," taken from a fairly good audience recording. "Fairly good" means that while the performance itself is well-recorded, there are some parts where the audience's cheers are a bit distracting. Fans accustomed to audience recordings will enjoy it, but it's not for beginners. The opening song, "My My Hey Hey," includes a scene where the guitar feedbacks, requiring several restarts. Although it's a solo concert, it's divided into acoustic and electric sections, similar to a band performance. The electric guitar and vocals evoke the world of Jim Jarmusch's "Dead Man," for which Neil composed the soundtrack.
