The Necromancer series reissues rare titles from a handmade label created by collectors for collectors, which was only distributed to a very limited number of people, using officially acquired, legitimate masters. Introducing the "Locked Room" label, specializing in rock and pop music.

While Neil Young has released numerous live recordings in his archive series in recent years, recordings like this are incredibly rare. But these are the kinds of recordings we want to hear. It's wonderful to see these precious live performances revived in the beautiful sound quality of soundboard recordings, but there are so many truly precious live performances that weren't recorded on board. This item is undoubtedly one of them. This is a 1975 warm-up gig in preparation for the 1976 tour, which included his first visit to Japan and was shaken by the sensational new song "Like a Hurricane." Because it's a small venue, the music and the audience's cheers are close together and intertwined, but that's the real charm of this recording. Even though it's a warm-up, the band is clearly inspired by the audience right in front of them and delivers a very intense performance. The vocal delivery of "Like a Hurricane," which was brand new at the time, is incredibly fresh. There are also some rare cover songs, such as "One Thing I'm Sure Of." The original master was quite difficult to listen to, but the 2009 remastering by the "Locked Room" label has polished it to an EX quality.
